For awhile i've been struggling to get clear skin, but i started to use olay mico exfoliating wipes, olay active hydrating cream. and neutrogena oil free acne stress control, and literally my skin is flawless, after the 3 years i wanted it clear.

but now, since my skin looks great, i want to use bronzer, since my skins smooth. so what color are you suppose to get for your skin tone? a lighter, or darker? and do you apply it ON cheekbone or underneath it?

For a bronzer you always want to go darker. What i use is Bare Minerals Warmth. It looks really, really dark, but all you need is just a sprinkle of it and it works awesome.
For bronzer, you want to put it where the sun would naturally hit your skin (cheekbones, nose, forehead). Then, sometimes, I will blend in a little to the rest of my face (just to give it a little glow) The secret is to not cake it on! A little goes a lonnnng way :)

Congrats on the clear skin! I know how good that makes you feel.

As for bronzer shade, choose one that is no more than 2 shades darker than your natural skintone. Powder-based bronzer is best for oily or normal skin and cream based bronzers work best for dry skin. And because you just got clear skin, make sure the bronzer it is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, oil free, fragrance free, and if possible, dermatologist approved. My favorite is "Physicians Formula Powder Palette Pressed Powder Bronzer in light". I get it on drugstore.com for like $12 http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=145704&catid=48032&cmbProdBrandFilter=37368

Anyway, I put a peach blush on the apples of my cheeks and then apply bronzer just under my cheekbones (makes your cheekbones look more prominant), then apply some to the bridge of your nose, your chin, and forehead!

slightly darker shade. bronzer is for faking the look of sun. You should apply it wherever the sun would normally touch the skin. bridge of your nose, apples of your check, chin, forehead. apply with a big fluffy brush with a light hand.

my favorite bronzers are from Bobbi Brown. She has two products, the shimmer brick (which has like 5 colors in one compact) or the plain bronzer. I normally use the bronze shimmer brick in the summer. Beige is also nice. In the plain bronzer, i like natural the best. Goes with most skin tones.

I usually apply my bronzer first, then add a touch of blush over it for nice flushed color.
