I don't know about you, but I think it is sick to mix Jesus with war and killing. "Kill for Jesus!" What do you think?
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Less than two years after it was plunged into a rape scandal, the Air Force Academy is scrambling to address complaints that evangelical Christians wield so much influence at the school that anti-Semitism and other forms of religious harassment have become pervasive.
There have been 55 complaints of religious discrimination at the academy in the past four years, including cases in which a Jewish cadet was told that the Holocaust was revenge for the death of Jesus. Another was called a Christ killer by a fellow cadet

beardog,
Kill for Jesus as in Jesus wants people to kill America's enemies for him. I don't buy that. Keep religion out of government and Jesus (whether he existed or not) out of war and killing. That is not what he stood for.

So a couple of anti-semitic remarks by other students equates to a holy war for you?
Whatever floats your boat. Just remember that these same "holy warriors" will be fighting to preserve your rights to call them "holy warriors" in the not too distant future.

You start with "Kill for Jesus", and then post an article about some kids getting teased at school? That seems like flimsy support- did anyone die? Melodramatic much?
EDIT: Right, that's what I'm saying. It's not what he stood for, and neither does anyone else. I think you're severely overexaggerating a minor problem. Nobody is "killing for Jesus".

No, Jesus was not for war and killing, and he was not for people doing wrong in his name. These idiots make Christians look bad.

It's pretty obvious that the military has been invaded by the christofascists - just look at Gen Pace's comments about gays, and the treatment of the death of Pat Tillman.

Christians sure do like torturing and killing and just plain old harassing others that don't fall for their idiotic brainwashing techniques.
