It's been one disaster after another. We have a lot of injuries, but that isn't even why we are doing so poorly (it contributes, but it is not the main problem)

The biggest problem has been the play calling. We need to run the ball and set up a play action. It turns out teams don't bite on it if you only run the ball 10 times a game. Last week for instance - Buckhalter was running over the Giants D. Winston Justice is a good run blocker. He is the worst pass blocker I have ever seen. So what do we do? We have a good mix of pass and run plays until we get to about midfield, then we try to pass on first down, get a false start. 1st and 15. Try and pass. Incomplete. Second and 15. Try and pass again. Get sacked because Justice cannot handle an awful end, much less a very talented one. 3rd and 21, and we are nowhere near field goal range any more. We don't get a first and have to punt.

This happened on practically every drive the Eagles had. They need to run the football and take the pressure off McNabb for a bit. If we can't protect him, our receivers don't get open because they are just not that good. We get our big plays when we sell the play action, but teams aren't biting because we don't run enough, so the receivers are covered downfield. They don't have the natural ability to beat corners when they are jammed at the line.

So in short - we need to run the ball and play defense (which we have done a very good job with this season). So if you're reading Andy Reid, please, please, please, run the football. Thanks.

Without Westbrook there nothing. He was out along with Dawkins and Lito Shepard. They are 3 of the Eagles top five players all hurt. Look at any team and take 3 of there top 5 players out and they would be playing exactly like the Eagles.
Give them time to get healthy- They will put together a run.

They are suffering from A LOT of injuries.

Three of 5 starting offensive lineman are hurt as is Brian Westbrook, Lito Sheppard, and Brian Dawkins. They also have about 10 other players trying to play through some sort of injury.

Yes, they ARE a crappy team. Their only quality player is Westbrook, and he (as always) is hurt. McNabb is over the hill and too busy laying blame for his shortcomings on others, and is playing the race card. Race has nothing to do with it - substandard play is his problem.

If you don't block for your QB, you will not win.

They also need Michael Westbrook back.

name one playmaker on that team besides Westbrook. they just don't have any weapons on offense and their defense isn't very good either.
