I was almost 71/2 weeks when this happened ...the good thing was that my body expelled everything naturally without needing to do any surgery. My doc also gave me an ok to try again after my first period post miscarriage.....however, I've heard people getting pregnant even before they get their period. My doc did ask me not to have unprotected sex until I get my period back but I'm just to anxious to try again...what if I am ovulating ad it might just happen. I know it's a silly thing to go against doctor's advice but I'm sure many of you who've had a miscarriage felt the urge to try again sooner.

Actually, a lot women get pregnant right after a miscarriage, and if they are ready physically and psychologically then there's nothing wrong with it.
Doctor's just want to play it safe, even though there is no evidence to show it is harmful for a woman to get pregnant right after a miscarriage.
In fact, for many woman it helps speed the emotional healing.
The only women that should follow strict doctor's orders are those whose miscarriage might be caused by a pre-existing condition which needs time to reconcile before attempting conception, or those women who need extra time to grieve for the baby they lost.
I am sorry for the little one you lost and hope you get some good news very soon!

I had a miscarriage at about seven weeks all natural as well. Me and my boyfriend were trying to be careful doctors orders and all. But I never got a period so I finally took a hpt and low and behold pregnant again. I am now 19 weeks and loving every minute of it. If you are ready to try then I say go for it and good luck.

We were about 5 wks along and had only known for about a wk when we miscarried back a wk before Christmas 06. Our doctor told us two week after the bleeding stopped it was all right to start trying again. He said most docs will say 3 months to make sure your menstrual cycle is back on track. That is only so they can predict your due date more accurately. They have ultrasounds and blood tests for that. So on our first try after those two weeks went by we had success!!! We are due tomorrow oct 4th and very impatiently waiting for our baby girl to be born.
Good luck!!

After my miscarriage, my doctor actually encouraged me to start trying again immediately after the bleeding from the miscarriage stopped. I did not conceive that first month, but I did conceive the very next month! That pregnancy is now a healthy, happy 5 y.o.!

My sister had a miscarriage a while back and when she tried again too soon she suffered another miscarriage. I would respect the doctors orders so you do not go through the grieving again and extend your wait longer .

GIVE YOUR BODY YOUR MIND TIME TO HEAL . THE REASON WHY U ARE IN A RUSH TO HAVE ANOTHER IS BECAUSE YOU LOST ONE . GIVE YOUR SELF TIME TO HEAL I BEEN THERE I KNOW FIRST HAND . TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF FIRST . THEN GIVE IT A TRY THE NEW BABY CAN NEVER REPLACE THE ONE U LOST . THAT VOID IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE THERE .
