Premature by a month actually means the babe is only 2 weeks early as they consider anything 2 weeks before and 2 week after the due date as being on time. Most babies have no problems being born at this stage.

My sister purely had a miscarriage 3 days once I did. i don't smoke, yet my physician instructed me the toddler wasn't forming splendid from the start. My sister on the different hand is a smoker, yet she additionally has a fibroid in her uterus which will have been the perpetrator. I do strongly have faith if she had give up smoking the toddler would have survived because of the fact it does not have had 2 issues working against it. My sister did not even attempt to cease because of the fact she purely did not choose to. She is a heavy smoker for my area, she smokes a minimum of a p.c.. an afternoon, while while i grow to be a smoker (cease in July) I smoked approximately 10-15 an afternoon. Any physician which could tell her she grow to be allowed to smoke as long as she stored it to 10 or decrease than ought to be smacked. She could detect a clean physician. i understand they are able to't rigidity her to cease yet they could inspire it.

my daughter was a month premature, she was put in an incubator and she had to be fed with the tube up her nose until she could use her mouth to suck from a bottle. other than that she had no problems at all. some premature babies can be small in height but my daughter is taller than average, now being 3 years of age. x

possible lung underdevelopment, low birth weight, difficulty feeding. One month preemies generally do just fine. babies born after 30 weeks have a very high survival rate with little or no lasting effects. Its the micro preemies that usually have the big issues.

"breathing problems that require supplemental oxygen or a ventilator, temperature regulation, feeding problems, apnea (irregular breathing), or jaundice (which occurs when a baby's immature liver initially cannot dispose of excess bilirubin, a yellow pigment in the body produced by the normal breakdown of red blood cells)"
also know t hat if its a boy its chances of dying of SIDS or Crib Death are higher....even if its a girl its a higher chance just because of the preemie thing.
