I like Aurelia - remember the character from Love Actually! It's a beautiful name.
I'm not a big fan of initials nicknames but if I had to pick one, AJ I guess.

I like Calista, with the nickname Callie. I also like CJ as a nickname best.
But all of your names are quite nice.
I've known initial nicknamed folks aplenty - a girl MJ (MaryJane), boy AJ (not sure), boy PJ (not sure), boy CJ (Christopher J?) and a boy RJ (Roger J?) It is more common for boys, I think, but for girls, it can be a nice alternative, especially as most of your names are quite feminine. If she's a roller derby queen instead of a homecoming princess, CJ might suit her just fine.

I like Calista the best. Absolutely hate Phoebe and Matilda.
I like initial nicknames. CJ is my fave of those. I would avoid PJ as thats a popular alcholic beverage... and s/he'd forever be associated with that.

I like all the names, especially Aurelia. For the initials I would pick CJ, but AJ also has a good ring to it.

I dislike Aurelia because it reminds me of "aureola"! Matilda sounds too old and stuffy. i LOVE Phoebe, I would have used it myself if it didn't rhyme with our surname. Calista is my daughter's name (we spell Callista)...we get compliments all the time. She says people in her class tease her sometimes for having a "weird name"..i believe she'll appreciate having such a gorgeous name when she's older.
I love initial names, ONLY for boys..no to PJ..he will get made fun of for pajamas. MJ is the only one here usable for girls.

if you are going for a unique name I'd ((no doubt about it)) go for Aurelia. If your looking for a more common name Pheobe is hands downd the best way to go. and as for the initals i like Aj the best it is by far the better of the four!!!
