My 1994 Saturn starts fine but sometimes when I'm driving it it starts to sputter and then usually dies. Usually it will start up again immediately but there are times I have to wait a minute or two. Any ideas what the problem is?

There are a lot of possibilities.

Most likely causes.
1. Clogged fuel injector.
2. Poor spark plugs/wires
3. Poor coil

Possibly a fuel pump, or a crankshaft position sensor. Either one will cause this. You will need to check for fuel pressure or spark when the stall occurs. The crankshaft position sensor reads engine speed and is responsible for ignition spark signal. Both of these are fairly common, but the sensor is more likely, and is cheaper.

its possible you may need a real good tune up done on it,also id change the filters on it gas and air filter, and also have someone scan the computer on it,if it has any trouble codes on it it will give those when it has been scanned, and this will help in repairing it,right of id say your in need of a real good tune up,also check the idle air control valve on it,that too will cause it to run like that, all you can do at this point is start checking things out,and rule them out one at a time, good luck with it.
