Two of my cousins auditioned last 2005. They didn't make it. Was critized too much for the way they look. They are into goth but their voice is amazing.

yeah this girl from my hometown won some Tri-state (Iowa, Illinois, Missouri) contest and the prize was a paid trip to Georgia to sing in front of the judges. I moved and I don't know how it turned out.

A couple of kids that went to school with my daughter tried out. I dont think they were all that great, they just felt like they didn't have a "gimmick" and are trying again this year. My daughter's roommate at college is trying out as soon as she finishes her degree...she's that good..

My brother knows someone who tried out and she made it to hollywood but that's it. My friend is trying out next year when she turns 16. I am going with her so I'll give a little shout out to Y!A. Lol

Yes , a girl who was always at our afterschol care and holding events. I work closely with her mother. Ahe made it 3rd place I belive and is currently still singing out and about.

Back in the day it was called "You Can Be A Star"...my Hubby played guitar and sang...but only got to the semi-finals.

i know a girl who tried out for Canadian idol. she didn't make it. her mom was convinced it was a weight issue...maybe she just sucked !

Yes and she didnt make it. She has a good voice but wasnt good enough I guess.
