Straight: Heterosexual, man likes woman, man doesn't like man, and vice versa.
Bi-curious: Man likes woman but wonders what it would be like to like man as well. (Most people who advertise as bi-curious are bisexual because they've actually tried it but don't want to label themself as bisexual or gay / lesbian.)
Bisexual: Man likes woman AND man, not always 50/50, personally I'm about 90/10 for women.
Gay: Man likes man, not woman.
Lesbian: Woman likes woman, not man.
This is sexual orientation, not real life. Lesbians can have male friends, straights can have gay mates.

Bisexual is interested in both male and female equally. Straight is interested only in the opposite gender. Bi curious is interested primarily in the opposite gender, but is open minded and curious about experimenting with the same gender. The bi-curious attraction is not equally strong between genders like the bisexual attraction.

My understanding:
bixesual-- physically attracted to males and females, often prefer one for relationships, but not always--rare to be open to relationship with either, I think. In some cases, can be replaced by the word 'libertine.' I don't mean this is a bad or judgmental way--I consider myself a bit of a libertine :-)
straight--hetero, or less commonly, a lifestyle inside the mainstream of society. For instance, many of my hetero friends do not being called 'striaght!'
bi-curious--not sure if you want to have sex with someone of the same sex, but maybe you do, you might enjoy it, you get turned on by the thought. Can lead to bisexuality, or more likely, simply being a libertine--see above :-)

Bisexual means they are attracted to both male and females.
Bi curious means that they are toying with the idea of dating/sleeping with both sexes. They don't consider themselves gay or bi yet.
Straight of course means you are attracted to the opposite sex.

Straight is what most people consider themselves, what Kinsey (the first major sexologist) discovered about 50% of the population is - it means heterosexual, you are only ever attracted to the opposite sex.
Bisexual does not necessarily mean that you are attracted to both sexes equally, but you are (to some extent) attracted to both sexes.
Bicurious refers to people who consider themselves straight, but who are willing to experiment with members of the same sex.
You will probably get some mean answers to this, but if you really didn't know, I'm glad you asked instead of just being ignorant.
Have a pleasant day. : )
