The best room rates this year are from November 18th until December 28th. There are 2 kind of expensive weekends in there(Thanksgiving & NFR) but, most of those dates have great rates.

If you want a 4 star hotel, check out the Luxor they have several specials going for Nov/Dec

The Orleans is another good one, they have been ranked as the #2 best value hotel in the World by tripadvisor.com

The other "generally" good times to go are from Memorial day to the Saturday after Labor Day. Then again from November 1st until the end of February.

For the best rates you still need to avoid weekends, special events and large conventions.

If you want to go during the summer, try Memorial Day for 4 nights & or Labor Day for 4 nights. Monday through Thursday of those weeks always have extremely low rates.

To find a super deal, you need to plan well in advance and keep checking. Also, if you will go to the web site of any resort you're interested in and sign up for e-mail up dates. They will send you special offers when they become available(usually, 1-4 months ahead).

During the week and away from any major holiday or entertainment event. I went last month and thought I was avoiding the Labor Day rush, not realizing that the VMAs were going on the weekend that I was there! :-) We went Wednesday - Monday...Wednesday and Thursday were great, then it got progressively more crowded everwhere on Friday. Staying over until Monday was a good idea too...less congestion at the airport than on Sunday morning. Look at www.worryfreevacations.com...if you can travel on Thursday or Sunday, you can get some great deals there! Have fun!

Sunday to Thursday, on weeks when there isn't a major convention in town.

LV fills up on Friday with weekend warriors, they all leave Sunday morning.
