When listening music, what do u think about ?

It would be better if it's specific. :)

I think about the message of the song and the emotions it wants to convey :) I write poems, so somehow I can relate to songwriters. Music will always be an expression of an idea or a feeling. So whenever I listen to music I try to grasp what does a particular song is trying to communicate to me. Sometimes I can totally relate to what it is trying to tell me, and there are songs that I can't relate to but because of listening to it I have gained a new idea.

To be specific just like what you have requested.. whenever I listen to music from the 60's I think about my Mom and Dad. If I listened to 80's music I think about my youngers years haha stuff like that. I guess music will always be associated to persons and memories :)

When i listen to music my mind is a state where nothing matters. Most of the time when the song is talking about something I can relate to I think about the past or what i would do if it was me or even what I am going to do in that situation.

i tend to think about lots of things when i listen to sad songs or old songs i think mostly about things that have happened in the past, embarrassing moments, family life, when i was at school and bad things that have happened to me.

And when I'm listening to happy music. I just think about the things that i am going to do later on in the day or in the week.

And when I'm listening to Christmas songs I'll just think about Christmas.obviously

Well, I listen to a lot of old school rock (The Who, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin). Since I'm only 15, I don't know what it was like back then, but when I listen to it, I think about what it would be like back then, to go to a live concert from one of those bands.

Usually, my mind just wanders, especially when I'm stressed.

I think about my life. It depends. I could be thinking about my future life with my boyfriend like getting married and stuff, or i could be thinking about what i had to do that day. it really depends on when i am listening to it. Also if the lyrics are good, I tend to listen to them and think about what the song is trying to say

depends on the music. some music is so lovely it makes me happy and i don't think i just feel the emotion that is stirred in me. I'm talking about such things as Strauss waltzes or Beethoven and the Warsaw concerto.
