I do powerwashing on my free time i do not use chemicals, do i need to get a cityof huoston permit ?

Check with your state's licensing dept. Some states, if you are charging $ 200 or less does not require them, some states are $ 500.00 or less. Call Building/Construction office in Houston to see if you are required to obtain permits. Usually some states, is only a registration fee which will be good for a year.

Most areas require licenses to perform work for pay. The taxman doesn't like to see you keeping all that money.
