When men go to prison and are incarcerated for a long time, they tend to loose weight due to their new diet, perhaps more exercising, etc. After awhile, their pants start dropping past their hineys.
This started many, many years ago. After getting out of prison, guys still had baggy pants and well it seemed cool to their friends who wanted to act macho and pretend that they were bad enough to go to prison, etc.
Later on, the baggy pants might have indicated an openness to a homosexual encounter. But mostly, baggy pants stems from guys who were in prison and who had lost a lot of weight.
People are such followers, huh?

I agree it came from prison. And I don't know why guys think it's cute to have their back pockets way down behind there knees, and we definetely dont want to see your undies.Grow up fellas!

The queers in San Quinten(sp) prison used baggy pants as a sign, that they would drop them for anyone. That is where it came from. So if you want to show that you go that way then wear the baggy pants.
