The Democrats sure think so.

Shouldn't we all come together and thank our President for stopping the creeping tide of socialized medicine?

Free? I'll bet those making $82000/year will be paying a substantial portion for the rest making 22k a year or less via taxes.

If you think health care should be fixed, start your own insurance company, hire lobbyists and lawyers, make it very affordable, and force doctors to accept your rate (state that you are non profit). Seek charity for supplemental funding. I think that would be a way better idea than letting the government control one more monstrosity that they have no idea how to do. The government is not made of venture capitalists, or entrepreneurs, they are politicians, which are usually very poor at business. Crap, all your federal income tax just pays for interest on money borrowed anyway, where is this going to come from?

There has to be some way the people who need health care can get it. I'm considered liberal and I think people making $82,000 should be able to afford health care. But let's fact it. There are millions of people in this country who can't afford it, due to lack of education or an inability to work (due to illness or otherwise).
We've got to remember there is more than one "class" in this country. The health care crisis in this country does not take care of its middle and lower class citizens.

Outrageous, isn't it? People making that kind of money and crying about how they have to pay for their medical insurance premiums. Poor things, it must be tough having to scrape by with only three cars in the garage, and poor wifey having to wear the same outfit more than once.

Er uh, nothing is free. But everyone needs health-care. The most logical thing to do is put us all in the same insurance pool to spread the risk and lower everyone's cost. It's a very simple concept that all conservatives should explicitly grasp.

The answer is "No."
Healthcare is NOT a right. Neither is education.
These are priviledges that are available to us, as Americans.

If you can afford "dubs" for your Escalade or the latest technology (Wii, iPhone, 52" Plasma TV, etc.), then you can afford to pay your baby's medical bills.

Uhh...where exactly do you live that you think $82,000 is a lot of money? Ever been to the Northeast, where "starter homes" cost $450,000 and the rent on a one-bedroom apartment is $2,000 a month?

I know people who take advantage of the American way and run a small business. Insurance costs $600 per month if paid out of pocket. That's a mortgage payment, so even making $82,000 a year, it's still not enough.

Everyone needs healthcare.

Just because people make a lot of money doesnt mean they are not human. There are billionaires that get denied from their insurance companies at times. That is ridiculous so. No I dont agree with you I think we need medical care that is the same for everyone.

wow, taking care of all americans has become a bad thing now? I think if you bring in 82 grand a year but pay out 100 grand a year you might need help with your child's health care.
