I assume that you want yo have one monitor in landscape mode (wide and short) and the second one in portrait mode (tall and narrow)

Set up the monitors for an extended desktop with both monitors in landscape mode, then put the cursor on the one that you want to rotate and press + + Which arrow key you press will depend on which way you rotated the monitor.

If you are using windows then it should be really easy. All you have to do is just right-click on your desktop and select properties, then select settings. At this point you should see two boxes, marked one and two. Usually your main monitor is going to be labled as one and your secondary as two. All you have to do is physically click and hold the monitor you want vertical, then ,while holding the mouse button, move it over the second monitor. You may have to move your sendary monitor box under you main one if it does not line up automatically. Also it may ask if you want to extend your desktop, and if your are trying to do that and you haven't already enabled this I suggest you go ahead and click yes.
