A female Capricorn with a Cancer moon and a male Taurus with a Pisces moon. A recipe for success or disaster?

Some people are so thick! I didn't ask for anyone's opinion on astrology it was specific. If you don't believe in it then move on to another question because you answer will be disregarded and you are wasting your time.

I believe you. A female Capricorn with Cancer in Moon maybe too well balanced out. Why? Cancers and Capricorns are polar opposites. Cancer's ruler IS the Moon. This connection means a strong determined yet hyper-sensitive personality. On the other hand, a Taurean male with Pisces in Moon means a highly impressionable nature and love of harmony and balance of those around them. The Moon and Neptune (Pisces' ruler) makes up for a defensive nature as well. Two waters clashing with an Earth sign, Taurus, also grants for wonderful talent and artistic abilities.

Michele, your Moon signs show empathy towards one another. You need to take into consideration your Ascendants and where the planets fall in each others charts (synastry), composite charts show the relationship as a whole. It is said to be fortunate when the woman's Moon sign is the same as the Man's Sun sign, or at least in the same element, this goes for Ascendants as well...another placement found in marriages is when your Venus falls in his 5th house, showing that the relationship is based on love (you'd need to do a synastry chart to see that)...I'm a Capricorn (woman), with a Pisces Moon, and Gemini Ascendant...Taurus men & me just don't get along-they are way tooo bossy! I need my freedom...but see, if my Moon was in Taurus...they would be the cream of the crop for me...lol...so what's your Ascendant? find out..go to Astro.com and do a free composite chart...it's different from a synastry chart, but will give you an idea-a basic 'theme' and feel for what the relatonship would be like. Good luck, they can be stubborn bulls lol

A Great match!

Capricorn and Taurus (earth + earth)
Smitten with a Taurus? You have found a soul mate! You click on just about every level, and will find satisfaction, luxury, pleasure, and contentment in the end. Taurus' Sun falls into your house of true love and pleasure, so it is no wonder that you can't help falling in love.

Taurus is prudent, loyal, steadfast and practical -- all qualities you share and long for in a mate. Capricorns have a realistic view of marriage, and you know you will need to count on your mate. Home and family are important to both you and Taurus. Taurus rarely stray -- they respect fidelity in themselves and others. But it won't be a boring life. Taurus expect a beautiful home environment and lots of creature comforts, much to your delight.

Sexually, you both groove on the same frequency. You are thoughtful and slow, which is always a good thing in lovemaking. Taurus is ruled by Venus, so they remain physically attractive well into old age.

Capricorns like to buy jewelry, something Taurus of both sexes are happy to accept. Capricorn and Taurus both love material objects, particularly beautiful ones. Capricorns are also interested in things historical, so if you like antiques, your Taurus will enjoy learning more about them as you go antiquing together. In turn, Taurus need flowers and greenery around them. You will enjoy gardening together, and you'll like the bushels of flowers that your lover brings into the house. Both of you like to dine out, and Taurus will have a list of the finest restaurants to try.

With a Taurus, you can form a wonderful life -- one that steers well clear of the edge. Free from crisis and insecurity, you will be able to concentrate on building a wholesome, solid foundation. This is a highly compatible, strong match.

Cancer Moon and Pisces Moon (water+water)
Your two moon signs are 120 degrees apart forming a Trine angle. There will usually be a great understanding and respect between the two of you in this relationship. It is highly likely that you will both have similar desires and motivations. Your Moon signs indicate that you are extremely compatible.

Cancer is a Moon sign of emotional sensitivity, they have good intuition and a nurturing instinct. Pisces is a Moon sign of gentleness, sympathy and a careful sense of protection of others. Together the two of you can get along great.

Either or! As there is nothing to the whole pseudo-science of astrology, and expressions like 'Cancer Moon' and Pisces Moon are vapid and meaningless with no connection to any real astronomic event, it really, really doesn't matter!
Think of it this way, if you were to judge a person's worth, and hence compatibility based on their ethnicity, you would rightly be judged a racist. But you are happy to do so on nothing more than the accident of their time of leaving the womb, and even that measured by a hilariously outdated and useless chronology??

I am somewhat clairvoyant and I got an instant "Yes!" on it. No hesitation at all. It feels good, with all those water signs around. Good luck to you and thank you for posting an interesting question, too. Best from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 64.)

Two trines between moons and suns and sextiles between sun and moon in both cases... why not?

lol, I'm sorry, but Avondrow is right.

Astrology is a sad perversion of the natural sciences.
