You do have something in common with everyone.. celebrate it.. Kissenger told of a meeting with a Turkish ambassador that has absolutely nothing in common with him.. they talked for an hour about turkish baths... one of the few things Henry the Kiss knew about turkey.. they parted.. and years later became friends.. If you cannot find anything in common with another.. then listen to them. They will find you fascinating.

there will be something that you have in common, thats why people talk about the weather. You are both human beings living on the planet, you both eat, drink, sleep. There are loads of topics around those areas alone!

if it were me..i would just keep asking questions and if we hit a sore subject then i would start an argument..then we would have in common that we like to argue!!!!!

you explain why you like something that the other person doesnt like in a nice way....or you just talk about something everyone likes! Or....talk about an upcoming event or something that's going to happen....
