i feel alone when i'm around a crowd of people at work. I have nothing in common with these people. I work with about 50 others and there are about 400 in the area where i work and yet, theres nothing to talk about cept the last time they got drunk and acted stupid. Personally, I could care less about what people do outside work, at least in that arena. I like to talk about things that mean something. I like talking about my kids, what i'm planning on doing in my future. i dont like talking about whats going on in the company because I dont care for the company I work for. i like talking to my husband when i get home because he truly understands me and listens to what I have to say, its not that I havent tried. I've sat with the people at lunch and tried to get into the talk but I am immediately shut out. Just tells me they dont want me around. I can take a hint. I prefer to engage in meaningful conversation with some substance. Not much of that in the place I call work. Thats my thought on the subject.

since this year and i always feel alone.its weird when lots of people are near i feel that.its annoying to feel that realy.its like ur lost and u cant find urself.and like u want something but u cant know what is it?so u walk u go u come u meet people but also u cant feel urself and that u are here.hmmm.

It can happen if there is no communication between them and myself, they may be interested in things that do not interest me. It can happen too if I have not met them for a long time and they are talking about past events that I am not aware of and I am shy to ask about them.

I feel this way when I can't open up to people around me , or they are talking about things that doesn't bother me at all .

No, because many times it is my choice to be isolated.Sometimes instead of being in the middle of people who really makes me feel bored(maybe because my standards are different)i prefere my loneliness and deal with me
