Hentai is a japanese word meaning simply "pervert." You here it all the time on japanese shows/anime when a guy does something like accidentally walk in on a girl changing or in the bath. She'll yell at him, and call him a "HENTAI!"
In English usage however, hentai has come to mean the sexual depiction of anime characters. Basically japanese cartoon porn for an over simplification.

well it all depends on the situation cause Hentai has various meanings mostly in animes when one person refers to the other as Hentai he/she means the other person is wierd or somewhat perverted. They also use H that is the first letter of Hentai to refer to sexual contact or actions. And also Hentai is a form of animated porn.
