I hate that too, but I sometimes do it myself! hehehe You reminded me of the school play when I was in high school. I was supposed to be Cleopatra, and the English teacher had written the script herself. She expected me to say "Are you here Anthony?" when bisilamto si Anthony (a girl too hehehe) was right there in front of me! I thought it was the dumbest line I could possibly say. Why she didn't stick to the original Shakespearen text I do not know, but apparently she thought this dumb question was better than what Shakespeare wrote! lol Ever since then, I crack up every time someone asks me a question like that! I expect hubby to show up any minute now asking "Are you still on the computer?!!" hehehe

Although I am usually calm, such questions may make me explode. I have learned to ignore the question as if I did not hear it. But sometimes I forget what I have learned.

well actually there are some questions which make us mad but if you feel them reallistically then you would feel that they are asked with great love and affection e.g. normally when i get back home tired after long hours of academy my facial expressions are not much soft and my mom always asks me that if somethingwrong has happened to me in the academy and it alwaysmakes me mad that why she is not considering my tireness but its just her love which i forget at that time.

yes..it get me crazy those remarks in the form of stupid questions..like;
(when i enter through the door) " has you arrived!?"
(when i m lying on my bed reading) "are you sleeping!?"
i used to give them humourous and ironic answers so people around me now take me seriously they have to be, to some extent, very literal in asking question!
ha ha and i love that..
