Can anyone honestly say if he/she is rich?

We see rich people in the movies but ... do they think of themselves that they are rich?

I have very, very little money right now, but I'm about to leave college with two bachelor's degrees, a master's degree, a car (no car payments), and no debt. I wouldn't say I'm rich, but that's pretty privileged.

I'm guessing very few can since the government here tells me I belong to the upper class and as such am taxed more so for the privilege and even more so because I can't afford the lawyers to show me the loop holes out of it.
Yes I'm still sitting here banging my head going what the f--- how is that possible? After all my husband and I both started life in families that received well fare, and to date we have none of the materialistic 'extras' so many other people we know have, after all we live in a the cheapest house in the neighborhood where home values are about 250k (we bought the repossession so made out pretty good), we drive used cars, and don't take vacations but once every 5 years (so no we don't own any second properties) and according to our kids don't keep them up on the latest styles and activities.
Of course I'm no dummy I do know there are many people out there with less than we have I just don't see us as being so high up the scale we should be classified as "upper class" even if it is just barely.

whereas inequality.org tells me I'm in the upper 20% in the US

I'm starting to think we need to redefine financially well off....

I met some rich men at millionairematch.com and they are humiliated. The rich men often show humblly before others and the poor always show they are rich.
