Ive just got back from the Hospital after she put the frying pan over my head for buying her a few cleaning utensils for her Birthday,just got her a new pair of washing up gloves to make the peace and she has just come into the living room with MY Baseball Bat

There's nothing wrong with your wife;it's all in your approach.
So put a washing glove on your head and make like a rooster for her,insuring she is happy with the results;)
Then,after cuddling of course;go use that fry pan to cook her some breakfast,and use those cleaning untensils to wash up after.

What is wrong with you? Washing up gloves to make up for the feather duster? How about a bunch of flowers or a box of choclates or spend some time with her? Take her, show her she's still a woman not only housewife, women get really frustrated about men's behavior and as men can't listen they have to become physical.

What's wrong is that these items, cleaning utensils & washing gloves are everyday household items. That's why you're in the hospital, you have no imagination. Try chocolates, or a dinner out and see if your hospital bill improves.

Not wrong to tell his wife - but I guess you weren't thinking about what was right and wrong BEFORE he screwed you over, were you? If that had really concerned you, you wouldn't have been in the situation you are in. Ask yourself what you hope to accomplish - she may not even believe you.....

dummy she was going and buy those very things for you and now you go and spoil the surprise.
Pay attention now, go out and buy her a ticket for a nice Caribbean vacation....for about 2 months. That should be enough time for your stuff to heal and enroll yourself in a "How to be a REAL man class".
Forget the ambulance drag yourself up and stand on your own 2 feet.

Never buy a woman anything for the house!! EVER!!!! Buy her jewelery ,roses, candy a romantic gift. this means NO vaccum cleaners , brooms, pots or pans. Apologize for being an idoit and take her out to dinner and a show.

Nothing is wrong with your wife..but there is something wrong about you. For birthday gifts, you are supposed to give her a day off for shopping, plus money to buy new clothes, shoes, handbags, for spa and beauty saloon, etc...
