Is there a method? I mean square roots can be extracted manually....

btw.... where does 20 in extracting square roots come from??

It is the same method. Just factor to the lowest prime number.

8= 2*2*2 there are 3 "2"s

80= 2*2*2*2*5 it would be 2*cube root of (2*5)

eg:to find square root of 16.
devide 16 by its smallest factor that is 2.then you get 8.devide it by it's smallest factor&repeat the step till u get a number which 've no factors..for16..16/2=8;;8/2=4;;4/2=2;;2/2=1..then write the numbers which is used for devide...that is 2,2,2,2,1..then devide them into groups,each group should contain two numbers &those two numbers should same..that is 2,2&2,2&1take one number from each group&multiply thoese numbers,since the last group containing only one number take it's square root,here2*2*square root of 1(that is 1)=4.
If you want to find the cube root devide as groups of three numbers.&do the same steps..
