One of the signs of an addiction is if it begins causing problems in your life. So you have to answer a tough question here. And your question really says 3 opposing things. 1) you are actually saving money by shopping for necessities on ebay, 2) your husband thinks you're spending too much, 3) you want to stop. So which is it? If you're not really saving money by shopping on ebay but you're using that as an excuse to continue, you have a problem. If you are saving money, then you have a problem with your husband. Print out a list of everything you have bought in the last 2 weeks and what you paid. Go over it, go over it with your husband. The first step is to identify where the problem really lies, then you can take steps to fix it.

You need to agree with your husband on a budget before you spend money on eBay. If you buy 10 outfits for $15 rather than 3 outfits for $25 in the store you are not really saving any money even though the individual purchases were cheaper.
If you have the self-control to not buy while on eBay try selling some items.
If you husband agrees to let you spend the money up front, you could buy a large lot of kids clothes. Then you could sell most of them and keep a few to use. You could then roll your proceeds to buy another lot and repeat the process. Just be sure that you actually make money after fees and shipping.

I use to have the same problem. I've been on Ebay for 7 years, but now i sell, instead of buying all the time. Once i started making money on there instead of spending it, i liked that better !!!! I still buy sometimes, but the money i make helps pay for what i buy :-)

buying bargains are very addictive. why don't you sell some of the stuff the kids have grown out of so your hubby will see a return in your investment on ebay.

Tell your husband to create an account and tell him to go to your page and report abuse...I am sure they will cancel your account....so now you don't have one and you won't have any troublw with it at all...if the problem persists then get GEEK SQUAD to come and block ebay from your computer...
