Hi.
With little searching you can find some legitimate ways to make money at home.
For work at home you have several options.
1. If you're a good writer you can signon to almost any webmaster forum and advertise that you can write short, 500 word articles on a particluar topic in which you're knowledgable. Many webmasters need this service for their websites.
2. If you can program go to one of the freelance programmers websites and advertise your services. You'd be surprised how many people need programmers. Especially PHP and ASP.
3. Many companies need data entry help, but these can be hard to find since the opportunities are limited.
4. Signup with a marketing opinion gathering service like http://www.consumeropinionlab.com . They pay you to act like a "neilson" family ... that is they pay you to give your opinion on products and services.
There really is a surprising number of jobs out there that you can do from home/dorm/jail, etc.
Good Luck!

It sounds to me more like you may be spending too much, not that you need more income. I mean you two have almost $4500.00 a month coming in, and you're scraping by? Does that make sense to anyone else?
Instead of trying to kill yourself with another job, why not look at ways to cut things out you don't need. I know there are always things that can help. You should make a list of everything that is spent in a month. Be it paid by cash or credit card. Then, you can make a budget the following month and cross out things you don't need. For instance, if you get starbucks every morning, why not cut it back to 3 times a week... That should save you about $10.00 a week, which doesn't sound like much, but you take that for a year and you saved $520.00...
If its not a budget problem, then there are things out there you can do. Ebay for example, you can clean out things you don't use from your home and make some extra money. Also, I do pinecone research, where they ask my opinion, give me items to try before company's sell them and I get paid for each survey I do. They last about 15 minutes, I get free products and I get $5.00 a pop. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I make about $50.00 a month plus the free stuff, so that helps.
We're military, and I work too, so I understand about trying to find a side job to help. Have you thought about something like a paper route? I know they have some that are just for the weekends, and you can make a couple hundred at that per month. I know when you look at these things, they don't seem like much, but when you add a little more money to the pot and spend a little less, that makes a HUGE difference. Best of luck!

Yes. Avon might be the answer. You can work from home and every two weeks you will have extra money. I sell Avon and the way it works is easy. It is a ten dollar start up fee. You get a good amount from what you sell. I sold 300. Two weeks ago and earned half of that. Half of that for me is two phone bill payments. Anyway it is very easy to do. Once your customers pay you, you send in the amount Avon asks for. Everything is automatic, you get to keep the money that you do not send in. Hope this brief explanation has helped. My e mail is pr1977robles@yahoo if you have any questions

I have one, although your husband might not like it. Has he considered being a stay at home dad, and taking on a child or two for extra income? If you think about it, you would be saving all the daycare money, plus gas (with him staying home most days) you would have extra income from him watching other kids. Also, if he opens it as a business he can write all kinds of expenses off such as part of your house/rent payments, child care equipment, food... etc. Something to think about. Good luck!
We are due in Dec with our 2nd too... and going through the same struggle, so trust me, I get it!

Your husband could get another part time job maybe on the weekends to make more money.
Or you could try babysitting during the time you are home. Also I make some extra money selling on Ebay. Or you could sell Avon or Mary Kay. Having a yard sale would bring a few extra bucks.

waitress on the weekend. You can make alot of money if you work in the right place. A friend of mines daughter makes $3000 a month working at an Ale House in a small town, waitressing. Only on weekends, goes to College all week. Hubby can babysit.

While you look for a second job, he then needs to attend school for continuing education...at the very least. If you are the one going to put forth all that hard work carrying two jobs, he's going to have to step up and get some sort of certification so he can get a better job, then you can quit the second one. In the end, if he doesn't, you're going to be exhausted and start to resent the fact that you work harder than he does.

Your husband needs to do his share of bringing home the bacon....$700 a month? My 16 year old daughter makes more than that and she is still his high school.....He needs to find something that pays more....and if there is nothing in the town where you live...then move!! Why should the burden of finding extra money lie on your shoulders??

Obviously he may have to commute to make a decent living and that's just what we do when we choose to live in a small town. Geez, doesn't he feel bad making minimum wage? I read your question twice just to be sure I was reading it correctly and you say "how can I make extra money" not YOUR HUSBAND! I think being a mother and having another baby and working full time is enough....YOUR HUSBAND should be the one posing this question hon!!

Maybe look online and see what kind of jobs you can do from home... I've seen some mail-stuffing jobs.. but be careful, some can be a snam.
Another is maybe be a secret shopper?? You have to go to the store sometime anyways.
