But, Clear Channel defended Rush, since the accusations were lies. Clear Channel said Rush has a long history of supporting the troops.

I don't take the left seriously since they applauded smearing a 4 star general.

Please get things clear.
The letter you are referring to was signed by Senate Democrats only. So 41 of the 49 Democratic Senators signed the letter.

As for the comment about Democrats smearing General Petramus, How many 4 and 5 star generals were smeared by the right when they spoke out against the war in Iraw or the administrations handling of the war in Iraq? I can think of a few:
Major Gen. Paul Eaton
Lt. Gen William Odom
Gen. Anthony Zinni
Lt. Gen Bernard Trainor
Lt. Gen Greg Newbold
Gen Robert Gard
Gen John Johns, many more.

Moody Red:
Have you read the facts?
The fact is Rush refered to "phony soldiers" in a conversation with a caller on soldiers speaking out against the war, before he went into the monologue on the phony soldier Jesse MacBeth.
Seriously take a look at the facts.

have faith me that Senator Reid lost huge time. he's my senior Senator. And a reliable deal of his rank and record help and marketing campaign donations come from his fellow Mormons. that's a collection which types a huge component to Mister Limbaugh's fan base interior the large Basin section, alongside with Utah. BTW, interior the standard election of 1992, William Jefferson Clinton got here in 0.33 in the back of electors pledged to George Herbert Walker Bush and H. Ross Perot interior the State of Utah. that's already a transforming into rumor around those areas that not one of the Democratic applicants for President who would be vacationing this state between now and the Democratic Caucus decide to look with "Searchlight Harry" at their area.

So what? There are tons of people in all walks of life who love Rush and there are tons who hate him. He is a news commentator, not a reporter, and because of our great Constitution, he is allowed to say pretty much whatever he wants. The Dems, who claim to be the harbinger's of free speech are once again proving that they are not.

Are you kidding?

A letter that trashes Limbaugh? They could get hundreds of thousands of signatures - probably millions, from dems, independents/moderates/libertarians - and from quite a few republicans, who are sick of having a blustering idiot make their party look bad.

Clear Channel only cares about making money. Idiots tune in to Rush's show, and so far his advertisers haven't pulled their support (hint: they only care about making money too!).

They could have, but who cares. Rush is a waste of time who only cares about his money. He is a selfish, arrogant, far right loony toon. I can't believe some of the people who call into his show and speak. It just proves how many incapable morons vote republican.

And so it goes. Another example of how these people waste time and prove that every time they open their hypocritical mouths, it tends to backfire.

Oh well, while they're busy concentrating on pure nonsense, they're saving the tax payers money by not dreaming up more pork!

These are probably the same Dems who wouldn't vote for the resolution condemning the Betrayus ad. Small, small human beings.
