I'd say that you're about right... I spend about 20 minutes in the shower. If I'm really in a rush, then maybe 10 minutes, but I don't feel as clean.

17 minutes you are just letting water run uselessly down the plug hole or you are too slow at washing.
I may stay longer sometimes maybe up to 15 mins just to enjoy the nice hot water on me especially in the winter it so snug under a hot shower. I have an electric shower so I got guaranteed constant hot water - unless there was a power cut lol !!!

I take super long hot showers, but if you just want that clean feeling you sure can do it in less than 4 mins. Soap up your body (less than 1 min) and rinse (30 seconds). Shampoo hair (time varies on length), rinse. I HAVE to use conditioner, but that should only add a minuter or two. Remember, we're just talking about being clean, not shaving, moisturizing, exfoliating....

I really am not qualified to answer this question. Ever since Febreeze was invented, I've just been using that once each morning. I've found that I can then spend those extra 4-17 minutes still in bed, which is a happier place.
Plus, I smell country fresh each morning on my way to work.

For me, 2 Minutes......To be Quick in the Shower.... I Time myself and Imagine that I'm in a Contest or somethin but I'm still clean afterwards..... But my MaxImum time is 5 minutes.....Hope I helped......
