ok... as I said last night I am leaking from my vagina. It feels as if I may be urinating on myself, like everytime I get up, I feel it coming down like I have to urinate. I know its not urine and I check it everyday. The leaking is so bad that I have to wear a pad each and everyday this week. I go through at least 2 pads a day. Last night, I had a little blood come from my vagina, it was a light pink color. I saw my doctor yesterday and she dont think that my water could be leaking but this is ridiculous. I dont know what it could be, I know alot of it is discharge but im not sure if its all discharge. I hope its not my water leaking plus im group b step-positive so I dont want anything to be wrong for me or my baby. Can someone give me some advice. This is my first child but this leaking is getting out of hand. I am thinking about going to the ER today but if I don't have to then I don't wanna waste the time.

Definitely go get checked. I went through the same thing. My doctor and her nurses all kept telling me that it was just discharge or urine...even though I could feel where it was coming from and I knew it wasn't urine.

So 2 weeks later I went into labor and when they broke my water, it smelled so bad. Turned out I did have a small tear in the amniotic sac and the fluid had gotten infected. There were complications with my daughter due to that. Mostly fever and her having to be on antibiotics for a while. I also got a fever from the infection and felt horrible for a few days after delivery.

If your Group B Strep + you need to go get checked out ASAP for the sake of your baby. They may want to deliver your baby right away and start antibiotics on both of you right away. They used the vacuum to deliver my baby girl because they wanted her out quickly.

This is a lot for just discharge. If you're wetting a couple pads a day its sign that you're leaking fluid, especially since you've had some pink discharge with it.
Go ahead to the ER and have them do a strip test and check your cervix. It takes 5 minutes. Dont leave until they do.

You will have A LOT of water like discharge when pregnant, enough to soak your undies and cause you to wear panty liners, but to be filling pads is fluid, not discharge.

Especially since its when you stand up.

Go have it checked.

go to the emergency room. i was told when i was pregnant with my first, that amniotic fluid smells like hydrogen peroxide. Well, my water broke at 36 weeks while at home wearing shorts, so some leaked onto the kitchen floor. I bent down and took a whiff and it did smell like that so off i went to the hospital and my son was born shortly after. You should deliver your baby within 24 hours of your water breaking, so i would get checked out just be on the safe side.

Don't waste your time at the ER - go up to labor and delivery. They are a lot more experienced in this type of thing. They will get you in faster, and test you for all the right things :) Best wishes!
