Fickle 1 says she is a doofus for what she did
I would call her forgetful and not to say something forbid
With regards to your cell phone it may recharge
But you will have to do it more often and have no peace
So for peace of mind buy a new one and let the old one RIP's

No, but I dropped mine in the toilet once (don't even ask how that happened). I was able to take the battery off the phone and let it dry out. The phone worked for about 6 months after that believe it or not...

It should be fine. The moisture inside should evaporate within in a couple days, faster if you use a blow dryer. Want to know how I know. I accidentally washed my phone too. it was a RAZR

I jumped into a pool fully clothed one night and forgot my phone was in my pocket. It destroyed it. Never ran in the wash yet though.

I like Cutie's answer, it must hanve been fun to jump in your clothes? Would ahve loved to see that! Anywho, I have in fact done far worse than just washing mine. I washed it, i got caught in the rain with it, i laid down my bike on it (in my pocket, that hurt like hell!) I have even dropped it out of the car. But, it's still alive.

A year ago. I did with my Razr. Dropped it in while loading laundry. I immediately took it apart as much as I could to let it dry out over my air vent. It took a few days to get back in shape but Im still using it.

No, but one time I was on the pot and as I got up my cell flipped out of my front pocket and did a perfect half-gainer right into the middle of the bowl............before I flushed : (
I've also knocked 'em into the bathtub. Never had any luck reviving them. good luck though. peace
