Because they know how to win period, All the Patriot haters are jealous and want to hold on to the week 1 cheating as an excuse for there favorite teams own failures. Bring on the Colts, Cowboys, Steelers.. whoever, the Pats can handle them and anyone that knows football knows it.

I don't love them!!!,I'm a Browns Fan,but to answer your question,it's because they get the most exposer.ESPN is constantly airing somthing about them.Then you have the bandwagon fans.When a team is good and playing good,the people who are not a Fan of any certain team,will jump on the wagon,and say ...Go Pats,for the simple reason,they are not true football fans,they just go with the winners.I've been a Browns Fan since the 70's,so I've had my share of heartbreaks,but I'm still a die hard Browns Fan,not a bandwagon jumper from year to year.If Cleveland or anyother team was as good as NE,they would get all the coverage and bandwagon fans too.....GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!

I don't love the Patriots. But I believe this is a valid question to ask. I would respect all those who said I live/used to live/grew up in the Boston area and they're my team. That's fine with me.
But I would gain a ton more respect for any Patriots fan who came in here and said, "They're my team. I'm embarrassed by their recent actions and the total lack of class shown by the current head coach. But I'm still pulling for them because I am a loyal fan of the organization."
But instead of a reasonable, respectable statement like that, the majority of what we see from Patriots fans go something like, "Everybody cheats. You're a hypocrit if you don't think your team cheats too. Get off the cheating bandwaggon already. You're all just jealous of our rings."
Too all of those types of Patriots fans, I just say, I'm on the side of the COMMISSIONER OF THE NFL and you're defending and justifying cheaters.

I don't even like them. They play well, but their organization lacks professionalism; In particular, the head coach. There are a lot of Patriots Fans now because they are winning. While you may have a core group of people that support teams win or lose, in Amercia, there is a substanital portion of the fanbase that are front-runner fans just so they can put others down. Makes them feel superior.

I don't, but why does ESPN love the Patriots so much, they ride them like a marry go round, almost as much as they do with the Yankees
I would rather lose honestly than win by cheating.
Why I don't like them
1) Cheaters
2) Tom Brady is a Cry baby
3) ESPN give them verbal head every day

I'm a patriots fan, and have to admit this question is really stupid. I love my HOME teams, simple as that.... I'm a Celtics fan and had to wait nearly 20 years until I finally see a good team with Garnett this year. This just goes out to that dumb guy who is saying all Patriots Fans are BANDWAGON fans... I live in BOSTON AREA, Obviously I'll stick with my home teams through thick and thin...

But if I did it would be because all you hear on the news in this lil unknown state is how great Tom Brady is, and Red Sox/Yankees. Also if you like any other team other than the Cowboys, you're stupid and everyone laughs at you. Plus, Brian Leftwich sucks... whoever that is.
OH YEA! Also ESPN gags on Brady and Belicheck all the time. Running away from the opposing QB who shook your hand everytime you beat him over the last 5 years, refusing to shake the opposing coaches hand, then throwing a cameraman to hug him to prove you're not a jackass, breaking the NFL rules, ignoring the media's questions all the time, nearly killing a player, and dressing like a slob all make you CLASSY!
