Yes, I suppose I do reminisce fairly often, particularly when I'm missing somebody who has died. I listen to a lot of classical music and, while pieces that are written in a minor key don't normally make me sad, there are times when something will make me a bit remorseful. I guess we should focus on being grateful for the times we have with people we love.

I often reflect on the past... It's how I got to the present... the one thing that I've learned is that no matter how sweet or how bitter any time in your life is... It's going to change... I try not to do too much "what if"ing ... I'm very happy with this life over all and everything and everyone has had their purpose..

When I'm in a pensive mood and I take a moment to reflect upon the glimpses of the past my inward eye provides I'm sad that the moment has passed but glad to have the memory.

A little of both actually. Sad because they are memories now and not in the "here and now" but happy because I was able to experience it/them.

Hurry don't be late
I can't hardly wait
I said to myself when we're old
We'll go dancing in the dark, walking through the park
And reminiscing

* That's my answer !

My wife and son...we like to do it when we are remembering the same ritual or event the years prior. It is good and bad at times...usually we recall the good and the bad things fade. People do not comit to memory what you say so much...as they do how it made them feel!

Depends. Some parts make me really happy and make me feel warm inside, other parts make me really sad and sometimes angry.

Both..so I suppose melancholy would be the better descriptor for me.
I don't do it often. It's sometimes triggered by an event or smell or song....
