Yes, Rush Limbaugh is a douche bag. Knowing that gives him the credibility of a douche bag. As long as people realize that we are fine. It is when many people actually believe him we have a problem. It is like National Enquirer and the Globe, the supermarket tabloids. Their stories are often blown way out of proprtion and may not even be true but sensationalism is what sells their papers. The same applies with Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and those kind. It is entertainment and sensationalism. In other words people like to read or hear BS because it makes their lives seem better.

I would say so since he constantly betrays the interests of the Average American. There is a saying in Spanish which I like and it's " eery pig has his Sunday "

agreed. the neocons only support the troops that support their agenda. as soon as a serviceman or woman speaks out against the war, they lose their unassailable aura and the right immediately labels them "phony soldiers"

RUSH WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT ANY PARTICULAR SOLDIER. WHAT PART OF "SOLDIERS" DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? HE WAS MAKING A CATEGORICAL REMARK IN RESPONSE TO HIS CALLER ALLEGING THAT SOLDIERS WHO DID *NOT* SUPPORT THE WAR WERE BEING INTERVIEWED.

this isn't rocket science, geez

sorry tinker, to be considered smart by you would at best be unremarkable; at worst an insult.

He was talking about Jesse MacBeth who was kicked out of the Army before completing basic training.

He was also talking about Scott Beauchamp who made up stories about Iraq to smear the war effort and erode support for the troops, and he was talking about people like Josh Lansdale who lied about their injuries to get certain benefits, and also lied about his service record.

The soldier (Jesse Macbeth) Rush was referring to lied about having received a purple heart, and actually only served 45 days of boot camp.

Don't let it piss you off, GOP hacks are allowed to insult the troops, it's just that everyone else who does it is a traitor.
