I bet it's hard to take,seeing your team go from top to bottom.
After Walsh departed,and Carmen Policy left,it was a down hill snowball affect.Policy brought the brains,while Debartolo brought the cash.The 49ers are going in the right direction,but it will take awhile.The Big time players are gone now,Rice,Young,Montana,Lott,etc...so while it will be 3-4 years before you see a contender again,it's bound to happen,san francisco is a great football city.

I'm a Niner's fan too.
I watched the hit on Alex Smith, and I just stared at the TV for like 30 seconds, not believing what I had just seen.
But looking on the bright side, we have Frank Gore, and even though hes starting out slow, how much worse can he get?! He will warm up a bit.
The D is pretty good too. Clements, Harris, Banta-Cain, Smith, Lewis, etc.
The offense just sucks. If you have no QB, I don't care how good your WRs, RBs, TEs, O-Line, and FBs are, you are going to suck. case in point, Alex Smith. Now we turn to his backup. It's gonna be a long season.

I have season tickets to the patriots for 30 years, It happens you have great years, bad years. Your team was Great when we sucked, I know you are a true 49er's fan, If you can LOVE a team when they are Bad. I Respect you. They will be great again but you will know you are a true fan. Whatever.

hang in and keep the faith! that's what being a fan is all about. and despite injury to QB, 9'ers are still an improving team, overall, that is....GL with it.
