mostly because those things make no sense for people if you think about it. super powers (being able to fight with laser beams coming out of your hands or moving objects with your mind) would require so much energy to work, you would have to eat an elephant a second or something simply to have the energy within you to produce such results if they were even possible.
flying, we fly, its called an airplane. if you dont like that, glue some feathers on yourself and hollow out your bones and go on a diet.
the speed of light would also make no sense. how would you avoid fitting objects around us? you could run into a stop sign at the speed of light and create like a nuclear explosion as you die in that collision.

Everyone can and always does run at the speed of light, as there is no other speed, according to relativity theory. There, you have super powers.

Because we're not a cyborg or even prototype-humanoid, or even weird clone. But one thing for sure, because we're human that's why. Human can do only limited power by themselves but if we think again, human can do a lot more than his/her power (if we try)
