Absolutely not. Some things are fun and some things are boring. That's a fact of life so don't quit. You should be learning something from your written work. Even later on you will need to be writing records and stuff - not the most pleasant thing to do but if you want to be successful at anything, you need to take the good and the bad and everything inbetween. There won't be anything in life that's 100% exciting to do.

No, you'll never get the certification for a job, or keep a job for that matter if you expect everything to be fun and fascinating 100% of the time. Accept that some things are difficult, accept that some things are not particularly interesting to you but if the majority of things about a particular job or career are interesting to you, you'll be doing fine. It's work; that's why they don't call it a carnival or a picnic. Good luck; everyone has a difficult time with some part of school.

Unfortunately one needs to complete the written work prior to moving on to the 'fun' part of things. Look at the written work as preparation so that when you move onto the next phase you can do your best and truly enjoy the experience. You must lay a strong foundation to build upon, and this is how it is done. Hang in there, things will get better!

No because I got bored doing written work all the time when i was in school and while i am at work. But you cant expect to be all the time at any job you'll have.
But once i get to the hands on stuff the boredom goes away.

do you need this course to get a diploma or certificate of some kind? If yes, then I'd stick with it, unless you can transfer to some other class instead. Boredom is a small price to pay if it makes your future better,
