Check that the video cable from the system to the monitor is properly plugged in and screwed down.
If that is not it, unplug the cable and see if there is a test pattern produced by the monitor. If there is does it have the yellow tint? If so then you need a new monitor.
If you can try another monitor on the system, and/or try the monitor on another system. If the problem follows the monitor, you need a new monitor, if the problem follows the system then you probably need a new video card.

Check the VGA plug. Unplug your monitor. Look at the plug and check for bent pins, dust of foreign objects. Check the computer for this as well. All clean on both sides? Good. Then try plugging it in again carefully. Did that yellow tint disappear? Good then it was a connection problem. If the yellow tint is still there, it is probably not the computers fault, I would say it is most likely the monitor. What I would do is consider going to buy a new flat screen monitor. They take up less room on your desk and give of less radiation than CRTs.

Its either of the 4:
1. If its a desktop Your monitor cables are loose.. Try checking at the back of your monitor and the connection to the CPU... Try to secure them firmly. If its a laptop then this item doesnt apply
2. It maybe your color settings has changed.. Try to adjust the monitor hue/saturation or other color settings you may have. Check your manual if necessary.
3. Lower power coming in your computer. Try to check your other appliances like your light bulbs if you have problem with your electricity.
4. If all else fails, perhaps you need to have your monitor repaired.. Better yet, to save you headache, just buy a new monitor.. and you say its emachines, then try to purchase other good brands such as NEC, HP etc..
Hope this helps!

I am a professional developer with Microsoft, and have about 10 years of experience in the field of Computer Engineering. Most problems with PC's are the result of malicious software that infected a Computer. Examples of this are things such as malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, root kits, and worms. In other cases, they are the result of stability issues due to crashes, freezes, or Hardware Issues. Some examples of hardware issues could be a dirty cooling fan causing the computer to overheat, or low memory due to lack of RAM, which could cause the PC to run slowly. You may think it could be a virus, or malware, or registry issues, but it could be something else entirely. As a computer layman, one may find it hard to really ascertain what exactly is causing the problems, without having a professional do an in depth analysis of your PC.
As professional computer repairs can be quite costly, I would recommend to you a Software that many of us in the tech department here at Microsoft use personally and professionally to diagnose and repair computer problems very quickly. It is a software called Reimage, from https://tr.im/ReimageRepairs .. In my personal experience, and in the experience of many of my associates, this is probably the best software ever created for those experiencing computer troubles. This is likely to remedy just about ANY problem your computer could possibly be having, and have it running like new. Reimage has won several awards, and been featured in publications such as PC Mag.

You r demonstrate seems to be lacking between the three trouble-loose hues (purple/green/Blue), this could ensue in case you get rid of the computer screen archives plug advert then jag it in not elementary so which you broke between the pins interior the plug, get rid of the information twine from the computer screen (not the capability twine, the different twine) and look on the pins, one in each and every of them could nicely be tilted and not installation into place or perhaps broken. restoration: because of the fact you are able to truly unplug the information twine from the computer screen, you are able to replace it, it fairly is not that intense priced.

Hi. You may have a bad cable but I would check your settings, especially 'Color Temperature'. If it's a laptop, sometimes the hinge cable gets loose.

Try changing the color settings. Maybe you can adjust it so that the yellow isn't as strong.
