Feeling you don't belong is normal - unless you have a very high perspective on yourself and,therefore,think you don't fit anywhere because nothing is good enough for you. Feeling you own the world is not pretentious if you mean it in terms of seeing the world as a sea of opportunities which you can embrace. Looking at the world and feeling you own it is a common thought for people who have great confidence and are optimistical. Is that the case? Then own the world as you please.

I don't believe so if what you mean is that you feel you belong to the whole world, and not any one place. I feel I belong to everywhere.

They say the perfect human is all humans put together. In effect, we are all one and in a way you do own the world as we all do. People will have whatever opinion they will about it, but all that matters to you is how you feel about it.
