I'm told its just two screws to get it out gonna try it myself just tryin to get a quick answer here.

I know on my F150 it takes a special socket to change a module.

As others have stated depending on the application is dependant on the way it mounts.

We need year, make and model. If it's an older GM two screws hold a black module on the breaker plate under the rotor.

if you have to ask here how to get the cap off,,you shouldent be messing with your ignision...buy a shop manual first...ur gona need it. some have 2 screws some 4 ,,some clips..some cars/trucks nave optical trigger and no cap/distributer
