Yes. I was 14. My mom insisted on coming with us to the movies. She sat way up front and we sat in the back. There was a sceen where a man's rear end was visible. That made her turn around and look at us. Like we'd never seen a bare butt before. Then we went out to the parking lot where someone had left a paper under the car windshield wiper. It was raining a little so my mom turned on the wipers. The paper was flopping back and forth and she was trying to remove it, not turning the wipers off. Good grief. Many years later I learned that guy discovered he was gay and became an extreme gay rights activist. I'd like to think my mom, in some way, has played a role in the fight for liberal rights everywhere.

The guy was a sweetie, he borrowed his dad's car, and he opened the door for me to get in. I stepped on the icy curb and slipped right under the car, ruining the dress and stockings that I had spent the whole week picking out for the evening.
After changing we picked up my best friend and her date and went bowling.
Have no idea where or how he is, can't remember his name, but do remember he didn't laugh at me and my calamity!

Yes. He sat next to me in sculpture class. I was an art student; he was an ME major fulfilling an elective requirement. Most people wouldn't even consider it a date...but he invited me to work on our sculpture project together. He came over Saturday morning to my apartment with all his materials, and we set up shop on the dining table. We worked for 4 hours in silence. When the silence became unbearable for me, I started peppering him with questions. As the sun was setting, he invited me over to his place for dinner. He disappeared into the kitchen, and after some clanking and stirring, he reappeared with two servings of alfredo linguini with meatballs and sausages (sauce from a jar, frozen meatballs and sausage from Cosco, I later discovered), and we watched basketball on TV. And then he drove me back to my apartment.
Well...so what happened to this guy? 6 years later, we've been through hell and high heaven, right now separated by 6,400 miles, but we're still together and I can't wait to be back by his side. :) I'd also like to say, I have definitely enlarged his culinary palette. But if he weren't so open to trying new foods in the first place, I think we would've broken up long ago!

Yes...it was with a guy from my church whose younger brother was best friends with MY younger brother. I was a freshman in high school, he was a sophomore, and he asked me out on New Year's Eve...we went to see "You've Got Mail" and then we had dinner at Applebee's, then we went back to my house to watch the ball drop. He didn't kiss me at midnight, for the record. We dated about three months, until I realized I liked the IDEA of dating more than I actually liked him. He actually went on to date my best friend later in high school, and we still keep in touch, via IM and Facebook and stuff.
