Yeah… tell us that when some country who has “the bomb” invades America and there is not a damn thing we can do to prevent it.

Political luminaries from such opposite ends of the spectrum as FDR and Ronald Reagan both dreamed of a nuclear free world someday; Also. Reagan negotiated multiple reduction pacts with Russia.
Is this a goal that would be achieved by the end of Obama's term even if he was elected and then re-elected? Doubtful. But I am not one of these people who shun WMD's in other's hands but hold them close in our own. No; We cannot entirrely disarm before the rest of the world does also; But I applaud Obama for the goal.

No, it shows his inexperience in world politics.
Even if we were to, by some miracle, disarm it doesn't mean every other country in the world will. It would give Russia, China, Iran, and terrorist organizations the silver key to our country. Having a nuclear arsenal handy prevents them from destroying us. No country will launch a thing at us because they know retaliation would result in their annihilation. It's called deterrence, look it up.
