someone who is witty, intelligent, compassionate, generous, has been through hard times and come out stronger, also someone who is not afraid to put themselves out there - say "hi" to a sullen person or pay someone they think is hot a compliment. i admire courage in a person- whether that be risking getting a dirty look from a petty person or be it knowing that if you mess something up, you will be solely responsible. i like people and admire people who are easily pleased as well, as in they value the little things as opposed to being very high maintenance.

My son who teaches all day then comes home to care for me in my disability who took himself through uni and trained for teaching on the job.
My daughter who has two children and acts as my carer and who has struggled to finance herself through learning the Irish fiddle which she now plays marvellously (after only 4 year) and is now continuing her studies to teacher level and seeing her little daughter learning Irish dancing and whistle (and is teaching her son as well to play instruments)and has been my main carer since she was 16.
My daily carers who get paid a pittance for caring for me at home, thus freeing up hospital and care home beds.Some of these ladies start work at 6.45 am and finish as late as 9pm 6 days sometimes 7 days a week. Not for the money but because they care.
These are the people I admire.

People that live by a strong set of ideas or principles that guide them to be successful in life. That success is not measured by what others define it to be but what that person himself believes is success.
People that are driven and impassioned by the strongest of convictions make the most impact in life.

A person that does not live his life in a lie for money and fame etc...
A person that helps others and is willing to put themselves second sometimes
A spiritual person but not to the extreme
An honest person that acts the words they speak
A person that is not greedy who appreciates all things in life
A person that has gratitude

Intelligent yet sensitive, strong yet compassionate, spiritual yet passionate, hard working yet playful, witty yet sober etc etc the list goes on. In short a person with all the good qualities. Tall order????

My husband...he is a hard worker, good provider, awesome dad, has a great sense of humor, listens to me, is a great cook & does house work....
