How do you over winter a pregnant onion?

I have several pregant onions and want to know how to keep them from freezing or what to do over the winter months to keep them alive,

I keep mine as a house plant and put it out in the summer.

well ill assume its like a pregnant person, feed them alot b/c rememebr there eating for 2, and no smoking/drinking for them onions, otherwise tehre going to get FAS kids. Also have they lay off stressfull activity in their last trimester. do this and your onions should produce healthy baby onion s for spring.

houseplant here, too.... but mine lives in the greenhouse, under the shade cover and gets water once a week.... it does fine until spring and back outside she goes.....
