It was not a lot, just a light spray and I thought I got it all off. Now, the laptop screen will not come on and the computer just keeps making whirring noises. Stupid mutt! Anybody want a dog? lol

Try removing the battery from it to let it dry out . The problem seems to be that some liquid (pee) got in the unit itself. In removing the battery pack you can look and see if there is any inside that needs to be wiped out from there as well. Rubbing alcohol seems to absorb liquid on electronic items well. Do not use a bunch of it, don't pour it on there , but take a rag and use that with the rubbing alcohol on it to wipe it up. Good luck in that,if the computer still turns on it may be useable. IF this stops then it's time to take it in or get a new one. Keep your laptop out of your dog's reach.

Sounds like permanent damage. Try leaving the computer off, put a fan on it to help dry it out. Liquid and Electrical components do NOT mix.

Also, I suggest be a better dog owner(let you dog out to pee more often) and keep your computer away from your Dog. Maybe your dog is jealous of your computer?

Hi. Unfortunately pee is a conductor. You may be able to save it with a good cleaning (soon before anything corrodes) by using distilled water or 91% alcohol. Let it dry completely.
