He's one of the most original and brilliantly funny characters in TV history. Is that "general" enough for you? :-)
I watch very little television, but always watch "The Office." Everything about it is superb -- the writing, the fully fleshed-out characters, and the actors. It's one of the best-cast shows I've ever seen -- every one is perfect for their roles.
And having worked in a lot of offices, I've worked with each type of person on that show -- including a Dwight. He was at a job about eight years ago, and was fanatical about nobody using the copy machine during the last half-hour of the day because that's when he just HAD to do his copying. So we started putting "Out of Order" signs on it around 4:25 -- we'd leave the machine on, but he wouldn't even try using it. He'd just fly out of the office and run to the Kinko's a block away.

Well, he likes beets, and now he's a cat murderer!! So at the moment I'm not too fond of him.
