I am returning to SA at end Dec and would like to take a good supply of Body Shop products back with me. I thought it may be better to buy them in Dubai and if possible avoid the ban on liquids - am I correct in my thinking

If you mean duty free in Dubai Airport, then no, there is no body shop there.

The Body Shop is EVERYWHERE. And the prices are criminal. They think everyone is a millionaire in the UAE. Most of their products are crap, anyway. You want good products try Missha. They're open in AlAin Mall in Al Ain, Al Wahda Mall and Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi and much cheaper and value for money.

there are a few bodyshops in Dubai but they are not cheaper than UK, at least in UK you get genuine sales where as in Dubai the sales are fictitious even though its a reputable company. there are no taxes and the labour is cheap but the goods in the British companies are still expensive compared with UK
