I know that people were saying that it was because of that contact with Vettel played a part in it, but I have a feeling that there was something else that caused him to hit the wall very hard!

He said that his vehicle aquaplaned so he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed against the wall.

He said the reason for his crash himself: He aquaplaned off the track and before he knew it he was in the wall. Nothing to do with his contact with Vettel.

The McLaren pit-wall flicking a switch which fecked with the diff's on the car sending into the wall?!

Yes that part was a joke but I'm sure some conspiracy theorist has mentioned it. All's we have is the words of people because we didn't have anyway near a decent camera angle to see it from the start. Which was disappointing.
