I came home from shopping and gave her a bottle of window cleaner,washing up liquid and a new mop for the kitchen floor!!!
Have i done something wrong?

If she went out and bought you some paint, a paintbrush and a book on diy what would you think. lol

nope, not if she needed it, or you thought it would make her life easier.
but you have forgotten cloths for her to wipe the windows with.
as well as a floor cleaner and a mop bucket.
so this could be why she is angry with you.
oh btw, did you do the shopping after a full days work?
makes me laugh how women moan that they do all the house work and dont get appreciated for it. I mean, I dont get a thanks for going to work 5 days a week, so why should she for doing 2-3 hours work a day?

How romantic! You can't possibly be serious. If you truly are, I suggest you use all you purchased, then, put a vase of flowers on the table you set for the dinner you just prepared.

Unless, you are the one who is going to use them......? That might come off a little insensitive, unless she asked for them?
That would be like buying her pots and pans for her B'day or Christmas....ouch...it could also come off that the house is not clean enough...double ouch.. But if you were really trying to help you might want her to know that. Good Luck!

I think she assumes you bought all that stuff for her to clean with. If you clean with the stuff you bought, she won't be mad at you any more =D
