She's at the age when she is really starting to get curious about the things that are around her. She probably feels that she can explore more when she is not held. While you feed her, just really savor that time. If you want her to get more used to being held try getting a carrier of some kind and put her in it while you are doing housework etc. Make sure she is forward facing so she feels apart of what you are doing. And since you are basically holding her she may become more accustomed to being held.

My nephew was like this, they discovered at about 6 months he had hernias, after surgery he loved being cuddled, so you may want to discuss this with her pediatrician, It could be a medical reason, or if you and your wife are up tight and nervous holding her, she'll sense that and it will make her feel insecure. However all babies are little humans with thoughts (even at 11 weeks) and likes and dislikes. The good news is, if she just doesn't enjoy it for now, don't stop trying because she'll likely go through stages where she can't get enough of you!
Raising my children is the greatest joy I've ever known, my youngest is in college now, but when I remember how much joy they bought to their father and I, it feels my heart with pride, it also makes me sad that, that moment in our lives is past. So enjoy every second with her, always be fair, and never let her forget how much you love and treasure her!

at the beginning, do not enable each and everyone make you sense accountable approximately not breastfeeding. It seems such as you're doing a outstanding interest including your son, and are doing all the sumptuous issues. I recommend giving him 0.5 a teaspoon of brown sugar to around 25ml of water. whether he frequently won't drink water, he could drink the sweetened variety. verify to not supply him white sugar rather because of the fact this would do not something different than grant him a candy drink, while the brown sugar surely facilitates to soften the stool. you may bypass to the chemist, and get your son a drugs called coloxyl. that's completely secure to apply, ask your pharmacist for help however. I used to could supply it to my daughter on a on a regular basis foundation, because of the fact she suffered from constipation very like your son does. The coloxyl does not impact the bowel in any way, inspite of the shown fact that it does soften the stool. that's positioned into his bottle, to make it bypass down much less complicated. additionally, attempt to hold off on the toddler panadol, in case you employ it. I even have discovered that that's fairly constipating for many babies. biking your toddler's legs could additionally paintings besides, and help get issues moving alongside. yet another element i will advise is taking your son to make certain a splash one chiropractor. while a splash one is misaligned, even no count if that's in basic terms slightly, it could impact many different purposes of their physique. I took my daughter, and he or she has been a diverse toddler when you consider that. look into it, that's secure and surely works wonders!

Try different holds...the colic hold is usually a favorite for babies even if they aren't colicky. We had to hold our son like that because he was the same way. Even now at 6 mos. he will only be held facing forward. Have fun!

Most babies this age act the same way. There just getting use to being able to move and get around well by them selves. Just let her have her freedom, and she'll let you know when she wants to be held.

my only suggestion would be to try and relax while holding her. Sometimes we.as parents, want to play when babies just don't. Try to be calm and collected while picking her up..no talking no ga-gas no eye contact...watching some TV or just in a quiet room.

If it persists maybe talk with her PED. My daughter had GERD and she would act like that..but only after eating.

Sorry couldn't be more help
good luck

My baby was the same way, he still doesn't like to be held. Some kids just don't like it, they want their freedom.
