I walk pst the busker everyday....how does he pay his taxes? is it possible he could be doing it "part-time"?

Most councils require you to have a license to busk, but in Glasgow you do not need one. I should know i tend to busk.

For our American friends, a busker is a street performer.

It is not illegal to busk, but it is illegal to beg, and police will see busking for money as begging, if they are in a bad mood

Yes, if you get a licence. I think you get one from the local council wherever you are busking.

i would imagine most buskers do it to earn their way through college or to earn extra money.

busking is legal because you are proving a service as long as you dont cause a disturbance.....begging is illegal
