True, my son died at 5 months old. He was born July 3rd 1981 and died December 3rd 1981. "SIDS" they say....or crib death as it's also known as. I believe it was some sort of virus. I noticed there after that he had always had gunk in one of his eyes, pretty much all the time...and then suddenly it was gone....I'm thinking it traveled through his eye socket into his brain, where it had then had some effect on him to the point of attacking his central nervous system therefore leading to his respiratory shut down.......nothing will ever compare to the heart break and loss.......for the rest of my life, I've had, and now have the philosophy of...."if it ain't life or death, it isn't worth stressing out over it".

True. I lost a child last Feb. I was a junior in high school age 17. The baby was a boy and I lost him when he was16 weeks. My boyfriend and I were upset because he really wanted one. I went into a depression shortly after but soon realized everything happens for a reason and that God may not have been ready for me to have one. Later (in Nov.) I got what would have been his name tatted on the back of my neck with an eye above it shedding a tear drop.

My baby died in utero and although I never got the chance to hold her or know her I am okay because she is in a better place.
My mom became a widow at 46 and lost her youngest son, my little brother only three months later.
